What Are NeuroRituals?

How bounded experiential applications connect symbolic practices with real-life steps.

A NeuroRitual is a bounded experiential application within the NeuroRitualis® ecosystem, informed by Ritualistic Neuroplasticity™. It can organize a situation, a chosen direction, a sensory support, verbal expression, a conscious experience, a small action and later observation.

Not every element is always necessary

A short writing exercise may require only a few minutes and a single gesture. Another experience may integrate an original painting, sound, a reflective manual and a longer sequence. The materials should be selected proportionately rather than assembled merely for complexity.

Four families

The documented families are opening, repositioning, sealing and returning. They refer respectively to preparing a new action, changing the role of a trace or object, recognizing an action already accomplished and accompanying a return to a place, activity, decision or part of life.

Example: opening a task

Someone may want to begin a writing project. They identify exactly what they wish to begin, choose an orienting phrase, spend a brief bounded period with a chosen image or sound, open the file and write the first sentence. Afterwards they observe the experience without insisting on a predetermined feeling.

Consent, choice and limits

A NeuroRitual can be simplified, interrupted or declined. It is not a religious requirement, psychological treatment or guarantee that a desired external event will happen. The art and educational intention support the person’s autonomy rather than replacing it.
